President's Message

Greetings,

Welcome to the web based resource of the Walworth County Deputy Sheriff's Association. The WCDSA represents the interests of the 53 deputy sheriffs, 8 Sergeants, and 9 detectives of the Walworth County Sheriff's Office in the areas of wages, benefits, and working conditions.

The Walworth County Deputy Sheriff's Association also maintains a charity fund that provides financial support to various community groups and organizations that share in our common goal of reducing youth violence and a betterment of the communities in which we live and serve. Past recipients include the Walworth County DARE Program (Drug Abuse Resistance Education), COPS camp for kids of fallen officers, Feeding Walworth County, Toys for Tots providing families in need with Christmas gifts for their children, and other Walworth County charitable causes. The WCDSA has created a scholarship fund to assist local high school graduates who wish to embark in the studies necessary to begin a career in a law enforcement related field and a general scholarship for those wishing to pursue a career in another unrelated field.

Sincerely,

Craig Konopski
Walworth County Deputy Sheriff’s Association President
